I've been fighting Aiptasia for many years in my 100g reef tank. I've tried everything (chemicals, copper-banded butterfly, peppermint shrimp, drying the rocks in the sun for weeks at a time, high-powered lasers) but nothing worked. I purchased about 10 small berghias about a year ago but did not see improvement and was considering giving up on the aquarium because of the Aiptasia. Then a few weeks ago, I noticed them disappearing. When I checked the tank late at night I saw the Berghias going to work. In just a few weeks, every single Aiptasia was gone. Now I see the poor little guys out in the daylight presumably desperately looking for more food. They definitely did the trick. Finally, an Aiptasia-free aquarium! Thanks a million!
