Aquacultured Blue Green Sympodium Coral - 1 Inch

Our bright blue and green aquacultured Sympodium sp. has beautiful color. This is one of our soft coral favorites. You get a 1-1.25 inch matt enrusting on a frag disk.

Sympodium corals are in the family Xeniidae. Xeniids are commonly called pulse corals.

The intense blue and green color of our aquacultured Sympodium coral is unique in soft corals. The coral color is blue and green under all color of lights. This coral is moderately easy to keep and usually thrives in most tank conditions and lighting even those tanks were conditions are not always ideal.

Because of their particular feeding habits, it isn’t necessary to directly feed Sympodium corals. The zooxanthellae provide nutrients via photosynthesis, and the polyps will absorb dissolved organic matter directly from the water.
