Aquacultured Burning Banana Stylocoeniella Coral - Rare

    83

This rare coral, Stylocoeniella sp., is yellow-green with very bushy bright red polyps. It closley resembles a montipiora danae and is probably often confused for that species. This is .5 inches.

Stylocoeniella sp.is a widespread but rare coral with a preference for shallow waters and rocky overhangs. Reaching only 10cm in diameter, colonies of this small species grow as a thin crust over rocky substrate. They possess many small corallites which protrude from the colonies skeletal base. Corallites house fleshy polyps, standing out from the base color of their colony.

      Active Berghia

Thanks for everything. The package arrived a few minutes ago, much earlier than expected. Corals and snails looks in great shape and the Berghia are moving around in the bag.
