Munching

Just wanted to send you a quick Thank You for your great service. Berghia's arrived well and are now busy in my tank with lots to eat. I saw them last night munching on their favorite food.

Aquacultured Pink, Green, and Purple Favia Coral 4 Heads

43

This Aquacultured Favia coral has Pink, Green, and Purple  coloring. It is a really nice piece. This is a hard to find favia. It has four heads.

Common names for Favia corals are moon coral, green moon coral, brain coral, closed brain coral, and star coral. Favia corals are one of the most prolific coral species in the world. Feeding tentacles emerge at night which will allow you to feed them items like brine shrimp for faster growth.

Polyp buds can accure which are a form of asexual reproduction in the home reef aquarium. They typically prefer moderate to bright light but can tolerate much lower lighting conditions. High current will keep them from expanding completely.

They are an easier coral to keep which makes the good for the beginner reef aquarist.
