This torch coral has purple tentacles and very bright green tips and center. The piece is 1 large head mounted on a frag tile.

The Euphyllia glabrescens is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral that is often referred to as a Torch Coral or Pom-Pom Coral. It has long and flowing polyps with single rounded tips that are visible throughout the day and night. Actinic lighting really brings out the color in this coral.

Torch corals are moderately difficult to maintain but will thrive under proper conditions and water quality parameters. It needs to have moderate lighting combined with moderate water movement in the reef aquarium.
