Captive Raised Red Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus filamentosus)
Our red filament flasher fairy wrasse, Paracheilinus filamentosus, was collected from the ocean just after larval stage and raised in captivity. It is approx. 2 inches long and eating a variety of captive foods. This fish can frequently be found out in the open water swimming.
This wrasse requires a tank of 30 gallons or more. It is an omnivore and will eat flake or frozen food. This fish is peaceful as long as it is the only fairy in the tank. It is reef safe. Keep this fish in a covered tank as it is known for jumping.
