The Euphyllia glabrescens is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral that is often referred to as a Torch Coral or Pom-Pom Coral. It has long and flowing polyps with single rounded tips that are visible throughout the day and night. Actinic lighting really brings out the color in this coral.

Torch corals are moderately difficult to maintain but will thrive under proper conditions and water quality parameters. The coral will be one of your first indicators of poor water quality when its polyps don't extend. It needs to have moderate lighting combined with moderate water movement in the reef aquarium.

Please see this article for more information about Torch corals.

I got my berghia and they were in great condition. They ate a couple aptasia while they were acclimating and disappeared into the rock work once introduced into the tank. Thank you, Aaron
