This coral grows and spreads very quickly. Growing on a woody stem this Anthelia will retract into at night and when feeling threatened. It is easy to keep in most aquariums and adapts to most lighting. Anthelia of the best beginner corals!

It does not possess any apparent stinging capability and will not bother other corals. When water conditions are right Anthelia will reproduce at a very fast rate and may require frequent thinning to keep it from crowding out other corals.

Anthelia contain the symbiotic algae zooxanthellae from which they receive their nutritional requirements and they do not need any additional feeding.
