Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab (Paguristes cadenati)

The Scarlet red hermit crab will scavenge and eat algae ad well as uneaten fish food. They are safe around corals but may attack snails for their shells. It is best to have some empty shells around the aquarium to help reduce the attacks on snails.
