Chocolate Chip Starfish (Protoreaster nodosus)

Live Arrival Guarantee
The Chocolate Chip starfish has naturally subby legs. This starfish eats detritus and should be placed in a medium to large reef aquarium. It is not reef safe as they will go after anything slow moving as well as corals. These stars are moderately difficult to keep and must have stable water conditions. They will do best in an aquarium with little nitrate and phosphate and little to no fluctuation in salinity, pH and temperature. Temperatures from 76 to 80 degrees are best for this star. We recommend a slow drip acclimation of 1.25 hours.
This starfish is guaranteed for live arrival only.
