The Chocolate Chip starfish has naturally subby legs. This starfish eats detritus and should be placed in a medium to large reef tank. It is not reef safe.
These stars are moderately difficult to keep and must have stable water conditions. They will do best in a tank with little nitrate and phosphate and little to no fluctuation in salinity, pH and temperature. Temperatures from 76 to 80 degrees are best for this star. We recommend a slow drip acclimation of 1.25 hours.
