Sand Sifting Sea Star Starfish (Astropecten polycanthus)

The White Sand Sifting Sea Star consumes large amounts of detritus and uneaten foods. This nocturnal sand star burrows into the substrate in search of food. This peaceful omnivore will clean large aquariums of detritus and left-over food. They are easy to keep. We recommend a slow drip acclimation of 1.25 hours.
