Spiney Star Snail (Astralium sp.)

Star snails specialize in consuming diatom and micro-algae grazing on the tank walls and the rockwork. These snails have an attractive spiney shape to their shells. They are easy to keep with an acclimation upon arrival and do not bother other aquarium inhabitants.
