Caribbean Pistol Shrimp

It is a beneficial shrimp which will constantly move gravel making them excellent sand stirrers in the reef aquarium, as well as scavenging any uneaten fish food. It is very hard to tell males from females. Males usually have larger pinchers.  Drip acclimate for about 1 hour with the goal tripling the water volume in the bag during that time. Like other shrimp they are very sensitive to copper based medications.
