Chaetomorpha is also commonly called chaeto, spaghetti, green brillo pad or wire algae. It is a fast growing green free floating macro algae that does not crash like Caulerpa may. Use Chaetomorpha for nutrient export in your sump or refugium. It requires light to live. Our system has a variety of small organisms such as mysis shrimp, brittle stars and spaghetti worms. You may get some of these goodies with your chaeto, but we do not guarantee it.
