Aquacultured Mean Green Favia Coral t-4-25-k

This Aquacultured Favia coral has Neon Green, and Purple  coloring. It is a really nice piece.
Common names for Favia corals are moon coral, green moon coral, brain coral, closed brain coral, and star coral. Favia corals are one of the most prolific coral species in the world. Feeding tentacles emerge at night which will allow you to feed them items like brine shrimp for faster growth.

Polyp buds can accure which are a form of asexual reproduction in the home reef aquarium. They typically prefer moderate to bright light but can tolerate much lower lighting conditions. High current will keep them from expanding completely.

They are an easier coral to keep which makes the good for the beginner reef aquarist.

Foolin' Around

Thank you. Slugs arrived, and drip acclimated okay. They were fooling around with each other in the shipping bag and laid 2 spirals of eggs after being in my display tank for only 24 hrs. I have enjoyed witnessing several berghia attacks on aiptasia...
