This fast growing, thick branching purple Stylo has intense purple polyps. It is an aquacultured coral . Like other Stylophora, this coral has extreme polyp extension giving it a bushy appearance. It is encrusting on a frag plug.

Common names for the Stylophora coral are Finger coral, Cluster coral, Brush coral, and Club Finger coral.
