Thanks for the Help

I wanted to let you know that our Berghia arrived about 9:00 this morning and I just finished acclimating them and putting them all into our 135 g tank. Thanks for the great service and helpful tips.

Aquacultured Pink Pom Pom Xenia Coral t-3-19-g

Our pulsing Red Sea pink pom pom Xenia is growing on frag chip. This Xenia coral species has a short stem with a frilly, pink, fast pulsing head. This coral grows and spreads very quickly. It is easy to keep in most aquariums and adapts to most lighting. One of the best beginner corals. You get at least one thick stalk or more. Please acclimate ASAP upon arrival and give it time to bounce back from shipping.

Aquacultured Xenia are hardier than wild-caught species and tend to reproduce more quickly. They require a medium to high light level combined with a medium to strong water movement within the aquarium.

Xenia does not possess any apparent stinging capability and will not bother other corals, but can tend to grow over and shadow its neighbors.  When water conditions are right Xenia can reproduce by division at an very fast rate and may require frequent pruning to keep it from crowding out other corals.

Xenia contain the symbiotic algae zooxanthellae from which they receive their nutritional requirements and do not need any additional feeding.
