SU Aquacultured Willy Woonka Favia Coral t-3-28-j

This Aquacultured Willy Wonka Favia coral has intersting  coloring. It is a really nice piece. This is a hard to find favia.

Common names for Favia corals are moon coral, green moon coral, brain coral, closed brain coral, and star coral. Favia corals are one of the most prolific coral species in the world. Feeding tentacles emerge at night which will allow you to feed them items like brine shrimp for faster growth.

Polyp buds can accure which are a form of asexual reproduction in the home reef aquarium. They typically prefer moderate to bright light but can tolerate much lower lighting conditions. High current will keep them from expanding completely.

They are an easier coral to keep which makes the good for the beginner reef aquarist.

Thank You

The black clowns are doing good. Don't see much of the harlequin shrimp but didn't expect that I would. I hope its busy eating that infestation of A.starfish that I somehow got. Thanks again!
