    This cultured Chalice has Purple eyes with Green rims. This coral is 1 inches long and mounted on a frag tile. LED lighting will highlight the red stripes. I grew this frag in house. Beautiful frag.

    Echinophyllia sp. will form plates and folds with heavy tissue. Chalice corals are typically very colorful. The edges and may become ridged with corallite bumps.  Echinophyllia corals are slow growing. Chalice corals in general like moderate lighting and moderate to higher flow. 

    Echinophyllia corals do not need to be directly fed, they feed at night and will have transparent feeding tentacles.
