Pacific Sailfin Tang (Zebrasoma velifer)

The Pacific Sailfin Tang has brownish yellow in color and have vertical stripes with markings as adults.  The juveniles are much brighter in yellow color. The Sailfin Tang can reach up to 15 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 180 gallons with plenty of swim room as well as rockwork to hide and graze. It is a herbivore and benefits from foods that include algae or supplemental algae sheet feedings. It is reef safe.
