The Pineapple Trigger is an aggressive fish. They can be housed with other triggers as long it is not another Pineapple Trigger. They would do best with large and aggressive fish. These fish are not considered reef safe as they will eat inverts, crustaceans, and small fish. The Pineapple Trigger can reach up to 24 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 200 gallons with plenty of swim room and rockwork to sleep. Make sure your rock and corals are secure as triggers are wildly known for knocking structures over. Their diet consists of mysis, brines, and other meaty foods. They will also need hard shelled food such as clams to keep their teeth filed down.
This fish is guaranteed for live arrival.
