Railway Sleeper Goby (Valenciennea helsdingenii)

The Railway Sleeper Goby is a peaceful fish and should be placed in a peaceful aquarium. Smaller gobies and other fish may be bullied by the Railway as they can be territorial. This goby can reach up to 6 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 30 gallons. Plenty of rock and some substrate would be ideal as gobies tend to stay close to the bottom. A lid would be recommended for this possible jumper. Their diet consists of mysis, brines, and other meaty foods. They may take high quality flake and pellet foods.
