Gold Rim Tang (Acanthurus nigricans)

The Gold Rim Tang is also known as the Whitecheek Tang or Powder Grey. This tang is considered one of the most aggressive tangs. This tang should be added last and there should be no tang the same shape or color in the aquarium as it may attack it. They are however peaceful to all other fish. This tang can reach up to 8 inches and will require an aquarium of  at least 150 gallons with plenty of swimming room as well as plenty of rock to hide and forage through. Their diet consists of marine algae, seaweed, as well as meaty foods.
