The Striped Shrimpfin is unique in a few ways.  The silvery armored plating, that is their exterior, is a great defense against predators. The body striping runs through the eye as well for great camouflage. Found in grasses and among gorgonians in the Indo-Pacific they feed on very small zooplankton.  In the aquarium setting they can be fed baby brine shrimp.  They are eating well!  The Striped Shrimpfish is a slow nose-down swimmer and a very peaceful distant relative of the pipefish. They will need very low flow and the proper diet to thrive.

This fish is guaranteed for live arrival.
