Jansen's Wrasse (Thalassoma jansenii )

The Jansen's or Saddleback Wrasse is a semi-aggressive wrasse. As juveniles the color is lighter. then when mature the striping is more prominent. They can reach up to 8 inches and will require an aquarium of at least 90 gallons with plenty of rock.  A tight fitted lid is required to make sure they do not jump.   Their diet consists of mysis, brine, and other meaty food. They may also take some high-quality flake and pellet food.
