Catalina Goby (Lythypnus dalli)

The Catalina is a beautiful colored goby. They are peaceful and reef safe. This fish will only grow to about 2 inches and can be kept in an aquarium of at least 10 gallons. The Catalina Goby can switch sexes. They can be kept in small groups in larger aquariums. This fish does best in waters of 60-70 degrees as warmer waters open up for possible disease and give this goby a shorter life span. Their diet consists of meaty food and may take high quality flake and small sinking pellet foods.
