Montipora corals are also referred to as the vase coral. They come in many shapes and corals. This form is called the plating montipora and are a great addition to any saltwater aquarium. As they plate and layer they make very interesting structures. It can be placed next to other peaceful corals but leave room for growth. Should it need to be made smaller, simply break it and the edge will heal in a few weeks. They are good beginner coral.
